Where can I find an advent calendar suitable for a tube fed child?

Where can I find advent calendar's suitable for tube fed children and adults?

Advent calendars are a Christmas tradition, helping children count down the days from the 1st to the 24th of December and build up their excitement towards the big day.

Advent calendars go back to the 19th century, when families used to mark each day in the month of December until Christmas eve with a chalk marks on doors.

Cadbury launched its first UK chocolate Advent calendar in 1971 but it wasn’t until 1993 when they finally became a Christmas tradition staple to stay put.

What if my child or loved one is tube fed and can not eat chocolate? How can I include them in this tradition too?

There are many Advent calendars on the market that include non-edible items so we thought we would list some of the best ones we have come across this year and made them easy for you to find by adding links.

  1. Aldi currently have a wooden train calendar with Santa driving it for £9.99, a wooden nutcracker calendar for £9.99 and soft santa plush calendars for £12.99.

Not only are these a sustainable option and can be reused each year but it gives you the option to fill it up with your own items (like stickers, confetti or jingle bells you get find at the works).

  1. Aldi also has a play mat scene calendar that includes lego like block tech toy characters for £6.99
